David Engelhardt is the founding attorney of Engelhardt Law. He is admitted to practice in New York, Texas, and federal courts. His practice focuses on complex business transactions, intellectual property, and high-value commercial disputes at the intersection of law, media, and enterprise. He has litigated matters involving more than $50 million in controversy and has argued and prevailed before the First Department of the New York Appellate Division.

David advises businesses, founders, and creative enterprises on corporate structuring, transactional strategy, and risk management. He also maintains a robust entertainment and media practice, representing artists, publishers, labels, and digital-content companies.

In addition to his legal practice, David has appeared as a legal and cultural commentator in national media, including FOX, BBC, Newsmax, The New York Post, and The Washington Times.

David earned a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from Portland State University and a Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law, where he was a scholarship recipient. While in law school, he competed nationally in appellate advocacy, served as a graduate assistant in Intellectual Property and Contract Law, and was selected for the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps Legal Internship. He also gained experience working on constitutional-law matters with the American Center for Law and Justice.

Beyond his legal practice, David has been actively involved in his community. He has provided pro bono representation for the Bowery Mission, served as a Mock Trial Coach at The King’s College (2017–18), currently leads Kings’ Church Manhattan as its Lead Pastor, and serves as a Board Member of Turning Point USA.
